Hello All.
1970 CS looks like a simple job to fit with new polyurethane bushes, what is the art ? seems like I have to lever the engine forward to get the bolts in, need about 4mm to align. Also the stabilizer on the engine block side is 3/8 unf and the smaller bolt 5/16 unf.The stabilizer has a slight bend in it is that normal ? it is the straight type stabilizer bar.
Any feedback much appreciated. Note, all new engine and remote control mounts have been fitted.

Loosen all 4 bolts holding the remote shift to the diff housing by a couple of turns so you can rock the motor.
Somebody has stripped the steady hole in the block, drill the steel steady bush and bracket out. It's much stronger now.
But I think you will be disappointed with lurethane bushes. They transmit vibes to the body, and don't last in this application.
We put them on a mate's 1108 Mini with a remote box and they were rooted in 6 weeks.
