I've been using my mini for the last couple of weeks as my daily driver and a few of the noises that I used to ignore each month are a bit more annoying each day.
There's a cyclic buzz/vibration sound that today I noticed is the speedo needle suddenly drops a few miles per hour and vibrates.
A few seconds later the needle gobies back up and the noise disappears. Another few seconds and the same process happens.
It is almost regardless of speed except over about 100kph.
Any ideas what may be wrong with the speedo or cable ?

Cable may be dry or rusty. Pull the inner cable out from top, wipe clean and lube with molygrease. Leave top 100mm dry so it doesn't get into the speedo head. If cable is kinked replace it.
