it all depends on how much you tub it. I think you could fit 15 inch wheels in the back no problem with a nice mini tub. Front wheel archs will need alot of hacking to get 15's in there.

Legal, well my engineer said any size is legal, as long as it has the brakes to stop the extra rolling diameter. A mate put 17's on his pulsar and to make it make it legal had to put 4 piston calipers on the front and discs on the back.

problem is that anything with a big inner offset will rub on the trailing arms at the back - mutant has 14's on

14's were the biggest I could fit without changing lots of other things. We didn't need to do anything from changing 13's to 14's. They fit fine with low profile tyres and we don't have any problems with them.

Would love to see some 15's on though. Keep us informed.

for the record in NSW (unsure about the other states) anything bigger than a 12 should be engineer approved. Same with all cars, anything larger than the original rolling diameter needs to be checked by an approved engineer. This isn't something that coppers and rego inspectors would normally pull you up on, but they can legally knock you back. You could put a 13,14 etc on with low profile tyres as long as it doesn't exceed the diameter of a 12 with full height. I just thought you should be aware.

Cheers

Aaron
