Stainless Steel home appliance polish (comes in a spray can) works wonders on bumpers and other chrome bits...

I have a white roof on my Mini K and it is an absolute pain to keep clean, the only thing that seems to remove the stains is Jif. I must admit I was a bit nervous the first time I used it but now it is part of my standard car washing routine. :o

Parade Gloss is great for the walls of your tyres too makes them really shiny 8)

Theres a product called shift it you can buy at hardware store, dilute it with some water & it will clean anything, good for those stains & grim on paint work, but don't sniff it to much or the job you are doing will become a lot funnier.

Hate to sound ignorant but exactly what type of Ajax are we talking.

They make so many different types, eg. cream, powder, liquid these days.

Which are you using JAM?

it's the cream in the tall thin bottle. I also used Jiff......both were on the shelf next to eachother...one is a yellow colour bottle, the other is white, similar shape.

So I think it was Jiff cream on the paint and brightwork, and Ajax cream on the seats. They seem to be the exact same thing, just different smell.

Honestly, it is the best for brightwork! I checked out my handywork again this morning, and it's BLING! 8)

Very interesting. I'll have to give it a try and spread the word. I have a few friends into the bling effect.
