Hi

just wondering if you can still get the chrome finisher inner strip for 1969 wind up door?

Its the internal chrome strip for drivers side. I've searched the net but don't know what part number to look for and not sure of the whether its called a molding or finisher strip. guessing i am looking for a needle in a haystack.

guidance appreciated thanks.

According to Mini King catalogue, that part number is the "door pocket mould" - with the bend at both ends.
Does Minik1969 mean the strip across the top of the door where the window slides, where the fluffy draught excluder attaches, and with slightly rounded ends?

Here is a photo of the door moulds.
From left to right: internal window slot; external window slot; door pocket top edge.
I think you are wanting the LH mould in the photo.

Yes, i think its the internal window slot as the fluffy bit sits on the other slide. As you mention. Not the curved bit for the pocket.
Ive seen you can get the chrome strip for sliding window cars but wondering if that part was changed when the aussie cars had windup windows.

HYA2749 is the retainer at the top of the door where the door liner slots in.

Is this the mould you mean? Your comment about sliding window parts threw me off a bit.
It might be p/n HYA2791. Winabbey might be able to confirm it.
If this is what you're after I do have a spare. They fit either side.
