No problem

The rubber heel mat on the drivers side is included, as are the wheel arch pieces.

Mine are “charcoal grey” :D

This is the one I bought, although they had a deal for $139 delivered at the time! As mentioned above, it’s not a perfect set, but it’s very good value for money.

The rear section is good for length, but a little short for width. The gap would be closer to 25mm. Perhaps with an experienced trimmer or a bit more work it’d fit a bit nicer. It was a huge learning experience to fit them myself - all the holes need to be cut, slots for the handbrake and seat brackets, and some material trimmed off the sill sections, plus adding the floor clips

I wonder if these are the same? They’re the ones I ordered. They just say Morris Mini Mk1 ‘60 to ‘78.

Just got mine delivered today from TST. Got to say they are great quality AND the correct shape for the early 850 with floor starter. Properly trimmed and edged (including the wheel arches and steering column split) and the loop pile looks great IMHO.
Very pleased and can't believe they can do it for that price - much better quality than the last lot I got that didn't fit and were twice the price.

It would be great if you put up pictures before you fit the carpet.

Sure, not sure if these pics do it justice though:

You can just see the raised bump for the floor start button.

The rear. Has split for handbrake and rear seat support bracket.

Good work with the pics.

Was the carpet in 2 pieces?

They look pretty smick Clip. Will be interesting to see how the back ones fit width wise as Timmy's version were a bit narrow.

I've noticed that most manufacturers seem to now have the rear carpet cover the square 'hump' between the front and rear floor pans (the bit where the seats bolt onto) whereas my original rubber / vinyl flooring just sat in the actual floor pans and the metal part was exposed and painted the same colour as the car. No bit deal if this bit ends up covered but I was thinking of leaving it exposed like the origibal.

Do you reckon the rear carpet section could be trimmed accordingly or would that look dodgy? Perhaps a bit of black pinchweld along the cut edge would cover the cut edge.

Thanks Rocky

Yep, front and rears as two seperate pieces as shown. What I left out is the two wheel arch pieces. They are also edged along the side that runs down the door pillar.

I’m sure you could trim it if you wanted to end at floor level Rocky. The front and rear looks plenty wide enough to wrap up the side of the sill, but I’ll know better tomorrow.

Fitted today. Really pleased with it. The sides wrap right up to the top of door sill and are moulded so fits neatly from the floor upwards. I just had to trim along the top as there was lots left. Rear fit was near perfect width wise. The slit for the handbrake was spot on as was the steering wheel split on the front mat. The front mat also wraps right up under the parcel shelf. The moulding for the floor start was spot on and not too much loose carpet over the centre hump. So really pleased. Ridiculously good for the money.

Pics give an idea - sorry before I vacuumed them. They need to settle a bit more too.

Thanks for the pics Clip - looks good. I know where I'll be ordering mine from. I've got the same car as you so should be ok.
With the magic wand, it looks like you've got the carpet under the rubber boot and metal surround. I wasn't sure how they fitted as my old rubber flooring was in pieces and nothing was left of it around the gearstick.

Are yours black or charcoal?

Rocky

Mine are black Rocky. I’m not sure about whether the carpet is supposed to be over the rubber boot or under, how I have it. I noticed Tim has his the reverse - i.e. the carpet over the boot.

Thanks Clip. That metal surround around the gearstick was screwed onto the floor with short self tapers in my car and there was no rubber boot on it. I'm guessing the boot split and they took it off at some stage.
