Hi all,
Looking for a mobile service for Hydrolastic pump up. Melbourne western suburbs, Essendon.
Any assistance appreciated, I have already asked Mini Makeovers as I live about 4 km from them but they are unable to come out.
Thanks and regards Gavin

how bumpy are the roads on the way there?

I've driven with wood blocks between the top arms and the subframe...

Had to drive home a few kms without RH suspension once. Surprised how violent the ride was. The handbook says you can do it - but wouldn't want to again!

I have seen over the years that some members have made their own pumps, Mick is now living in W.A. but are there others out there in Melbourne who could spare a few hours and their pump? I am happy to pay normal rates for a mobile evacuation and reset. Given the current COVID climate I understand that it may not be for the next few weeks but I would like to get a date locked in if possible, any help appreciated!
regards Gavin

A small tilt tray truck? You would only need it one way.

My first mini was a 67 deluxe, as i was 18 i worked out if i drained all the hyrdo fluid it lowered the car, drove it like that for 12 months until i put a rod out the side of the block.
It was rough but not as rough as my LJ Torana i got a few years later
