I had forgotten about Tasmania, the drive from Burnie to Strahan, and of course the Queenstown road stand out in my memory.

Ah yes 99 bends out of Queenstown takes no prisoner's, once saw a Lambo with its nose stuck over the edge stooped by the wire rope between the poles, the wire rope stopped it at the windscreen, I have driven it in the dry, the wet and also in the snow a few years ago....which is best?? it doesn't matter all are challenging and the Mini Rally car loved them all

Sometimes good drives can get forgotten and taken for granted when you drive them often.
I am lucky enough to live qhere I overlook onto a lake. The lake is 11km around it and for 5 or 6 of those you drive right alongside the lake. I drive it everyday but it really is a great drive and the lake has many moods so changes the view. I was thinking how good the drive is as I drove the mini round it today.
