Anyone know a shop that can mix off the Dulon paint code? Cheers Dan |

I’ve had acrylic paint mixed for 2 Minis based on Dulon paint codes by John’s Paint Shed at Hemmant, Brisbane. |

That’s a shame, I have also had them match paint for me based on a good quality painted part, e.g. backed of a number plate holder which hasn’t seen the Sun. |

In case you aren't aware there's a folder of paint and trim colour documents here - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=66469 Also, here's a list of PPG current paint codes - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=98953 |

It is better to take a sample to be matched as there are so ,any variables such as tints changing and colours altering that a code paint may not match anyway. |

(I think) said to bring in a panel to match. Unfortunately only the metal under the dash vinyl is the original colour and I cant remove it from the car (Its been painted white). I just saw winnabeys post, I wish I had have seen that before - hopefully I will be able to match from that. |

Yep, still trying to find a photo of a Mini in Shale Green. Unfortunately for me only the metal under the dash vinyl is the original colour and I cant remove it from the car (Its been painted white). I use Harts Industrial Paints Geebung. They haven't yet failed to find a mini colour unlike who I tried previously. Johns paint shed uses the same paint system last I knew (Concept) so should have the same database. It might be under BMC or Leyland for example not Morris. |

I'll see how I go with the PPG code |
