I like the way you've powdercoated the bolt heads, but can you torque them up with the colour left in tact? Chromed bolts would look good.

Ok, so ive got the rhs caliper kit fitted to the caliper and got the caliper mounted up with pads fitted, all ready to go. All fits well, had to grind a little bit of each caliper mounting bolt as they were just fouling on the disc. Just got a get a hold of some copper washers n screw the brake lines on.......

The calipers are actually the same colour as my car, tho because of the floodlighting that im using, and the camera flash, it makes them look a lot lighter.

Very neat setup.

Should we be expecting the Hanra brake conversion kits soon?

Out of interest are they going to / have been engineered? The price still seems great what you've got.

Good luck with the test drive, and remember to fasten all loose objects & wear a seatbelt so you don't headbutt the steering wheel

Well done.

No they havnt, and i doubt i will. One would assume that they should pass. I cant see what they could fail me on? But there is other stuff on the car that is illegal, so ill just wait till i get fined...

Looks good , my only query is the spacer , is it only to make the track the same as standard or is it needed to allow the wheels to clear the calipers etc as well ? I know it's strong and secure but it looks odd screwed on out there to me .

The spacer is only to make the track the same - i ran the spacer on my clubman - it screws into the driveflange so technically it's not really a spacer - but i took it off on the moke and now run without it to keep the track under the moke guards.

Yeah the spacer is there to give the same track as S. That spacer is screwed through the spacer, through the disc rotor then into the drive flange, into the original screw holes.

On my Moke I made the spacers 10mm instead of the usual 20 or 25mm so the front track matched the original drums. That's one of the beauties of the Honda conversion, you can run whatever track you wish.

I drilled and tapped the spacers and fastened them from behind the drive flange with allen-key headed hi tensile 1/4" bolts. Just to make sure they never move.

BTW original MOke 13" rims fit over the City disks without a spacer, but with only a couple of mm of clearance. Not sure about the Civic disks.

I'd be interest to know whethere others are using a booster with their Honda disks? I bought a VH44 but never fitted it. Once the pads bedded in I found the pedal pressure was fine without one. :)

I had to run with 25mm cause my 12in Superlite wheels suck! They have a step on the inner surface which actually makes the inside diam of the wheel 10in.....

My calipers only just clear... And now that i made em that bit thicker with red powdercoat, they are even closer!!!!!!
