hey fellas,

i was quoted a while back $600 to fix a rust bubble in the midle of the bottom of the windscreen and around the corners of the rear window, not including painting (1 rust spot in each window)

i know that this is a rip of as fibre glass kits cost $20

the bubbles around the rear window are very small (taken the window n rubber out)

should i just sand them back and fill with a TINY bit of bog?....will it work?

or is fibre glass the go?, anything i should look out for?

cheers

if the holes are bigger than 10c piece than it should be welded up, but if the holes are smaller than a 20c piece and you cant get them welded up, then use some bog that has been blended with fibreglass, forget the name of the stuff, but it will next to the bog in the shops.

apparently marine bog is the go. get it from boat shops. they put some extra bits in to help ward off the rust, and it has the fibres in it already.
