Hi - I am about to buy a set of 13 x 8 rims and would like to know what slick tyres I can get..

I want to run a max diameter of 20 - 21 inchs and maybe a 205 to 215..

What about AVON tyre?

Thanks.

The mini they are going on to is a track car only.. 1.3lt Super Charger With Carbon Fibre panels etc...

Bye

Where you at Devil?

If you are in NSW call Gordon Levens at Emu Plains (in the phone book) for Avon and Yokahama options

Or Gary's Motorsport Tyres at Blactown (in the phone book) for Dunlop. These guys can get the 10x6 in slicks that the Miglia racers use in the UK for about $220 each. [that was for others info Devil]

Dunno who the Falken, Bridgestone etc distributors are.

Dunlop still do a few ranges of tyre to suit.
Have to be careful of sidewall material though(pick the right one)
I run 225/450/13 all round on my car on 7" wheels
i found the offset on some 8" wheels to upset things
also got a set of new hoosiers there but haven't tried them out yet
Depending on the rolling diameter you want i may have some spares
