G'day,

When I brought my 1275LS this came with it in a file full of receipts, thought it would be nice to share :)

Not sure if this is the case, but some off the things I think may be incorrect... I have found somethings that seem to be not right with mine, but I'm not sure if it has broken and been replaced with the wrong thing or not.... damn previous owners :D

Anyway happy viewing

Cheers
Matt

The book that came from is good when looking to buy a car and check authenticity...
also does cooper s mk 1 and 2, clubman gt.
as well as body colours and trim to match.
problem with 1275 ls's is they were built from the factory leftovers, and if they ran
out of cigarette lighters, the remaining cars never got them. That and previous owners

thats interesting -
mine does not have a cigar lighter and
i don't think any aussie minis ever did -
also i dont think the 1275LS's came with a radio/cassette,
(i know the 998LS adn SS came with a am/fm twin speaker
radio / cassette) it just came with a am single speaker
radiomobile radio?? but as you said as they ran out of
the cassett players they probably just stuck
the crappy am radio in there -

very interesting - thanks for sharing :D

i have a Wheels article reviewing the 1275LS, and it says that they only had an AM radio (which i found really weird, considering the 77LS had AM/FM).

i had meant to scan the article in and put it in PDF format up for download as a christmas surprise for you folk, but i guess the surprise is blown now! i'll try and do it this week though. :)

Mine only had the AM radio as well.

In 1978 there was no point in having FM because there were not many stations yet!

Mine didn't come with the orig radio or speaker(s), so cant comment on the radio situation.
