SEE LAST PAGES FOR UPDATES AND TO PUT YOUR NAME DOWN!

Hi guys, well as some of you know i got my mini dynoed this week before i went to the drags. The place i did it at is MRC Performance. It is basically a one man run performance workshop with a great dyno facility. The guys name is mark and he is a legend, really nice guy too.

I asked him if he does dyno days there and he said no problems. We can do it on a saturday, cost will be $50 each car. He said 10 is a good number of cars to have, that way we have the dyno for half the day and can have a couple of runs on it.

he will even setup a bbq for us if we wanna have lunch at the end, he gets all the runs that were laid down on a chart for us, we also get a print out for each car.

Any interest for a day in january or febuary?? maybe weekend before wakefield so we are all running 100%?

ok got a few interested.

One thing is that mark the dyno operator will only be strapping the cars down then running the car for a few power runs, he will not do any tuning on the car, that is left up to you to do. Just tell him your rev limiit, or let him find out, and all runs will be done in 3rd gear.
The read out will tell you your a/f ratio (if your running lean or rich) then you can play with it a bit and run it up again to see any difference. It will also show your power (kw and hp) at the wheels, torque, boost and temperatures.

He will give advice on what to do with your engine to get it running better, but i think kev will have the best knowlegde on what to do.

So who has the biggest baddest A series out there??? come and show us!

Ummmm, after 2500 K's each way on the highway, I think a rebore might be required LOL. And a new set of linings for the brakes, the realisation I shoulda had the second tank fitted, and well ya get the drift LOL.
