Yo all..

I have a 69 deluxe as the name implies... anyway, a dude i know was checking out the underneath and was surprised by a lack of a full car-length guard down the centre for the hydro and brake lines.. this observation was based on his matic which had such a feature... There are two small guards (aboiut the size of a large male hand) which cover the lines at aprox the front and rear bulkheads but nothing down the middle... Is my car incomplete or were they a no show originally anyway?

what do u other 'lux owners have?
Cheers

Pete

I have a '68 Morris Deluxe with those guards, afaik they are standard on deluxes, and most Oz built minis.

Used on all Minis from Deluxe on, including Ss, Ks, autos and Clubbies.

Tip- mine rattled against so I took them off, put a bead of selleys `all clear' down the sides, screwed 'em back on. Ah, no rattles now!
