Here it is....hanging out to dry...

Image

The original loom from my clubby. Never cut or butchered - in perfect condition. :D

I cleaned it up with some electrical cleaning solution that made it's way from my former work to my garage  It will be going in to JAM in the next couple of days.

I've never seen one out of the car before. Not as scary as I'd imagined..

I extracted that loom over 2 years ago. It was a delicate operation.....

I was thinking it would be hard to refit, but once I got it out of the box it was stored in and had a close look, I reckon it will be pretty easy. There really isn't much to it..... :)

I rewired my Old LS, long gone now, It took two days to work out what was what as the original loom had been butchered so badly it was impossible to know if the car was about to catch fire. New loom had a bunch of things added to it, including a 7 fuse fuse box and about 6 relays. Also fitted a thermo fan, and a few other bits and peices. Before you put it in, make sure your heater controls are in place. makes life a little easier. You labled everything? if not, i will tell you whats what from putt putt if you like.

Cheers

Aaron
