Just be careful with mandrel bent extractors.
The centre pipe doesn't allow you to use single or twin carb manifold. Weber only.
Whatever you run, just check your inlet manifold before fitting

Thank god, got me worried there.....thats what ihaeared and
jumped to conclusion. :D

Mandral Bending is just the way they bend the pipes...and is better.
It does not give a kink...(Kind Of) in the pipe

Maniflow LCBs are not mandrel bent, but the centre pipe comes out of the head a bit straighter than the Oz made ones do.

Talking about intake manifolds and G rusell by the way, I was there last week and he seems to have produced one of his famous manifolds (with the little step at the lower edge) that fits without mods to the firewall.

Yeah I've got one here- bare carb might fit, but not with any filtration..
If it did, it would be on my car by now!

about $230.

Kev he was standing there telling me that it is very much possible, I'll have to check it further.

BTW he expressed his views on unleaded and flashlube - he doesnt run any additives and doesnt use hardened seats. What do you reckon?

He doesn't do any miles.. drives the BM instead.
If you want to see what that can do to a head in 6 months I'll put some pics up here tonite.

Yeah he told me this manifold fits too, but unless you want socks poking inside the car, nothing in the way of a filter will go on!
Put it this way- it's about 1-1/2" LONGER than your Redline one..

Ok well I'll tell him you called him a liar :) - seriously though thats why I was aprehensive and didnt buy the manifold straight away - remembered what you said earlier. Too bad though I reckon he doesnt have to exagerate the performance gains with that manifold- maybe we can all coerse him into making a slightly shorter one with that famous step in it.

I'm going to move the speedo binnacle into the car about 1" or so, use early Clubbie speedo cable, then do a shallow box for a Ramflo filter.

Making the manifold shorter will put corners in it and bugger the gas flow...
Worth fitting as is. When mine is in I'll post pics.
 Might fit it for Wakefield Pk without filters, just to see what `performance gains' it has.. :P

I've got a right angle angle joiner on my speedo end,
makes it a lot easier on the speedo cable

Brickworx, where did you get that ?
With the Turbo Plenum taking most of my Speedo "hole" if i dont get the cable aligned "just-right" it goes snap within 20 klm. . . like it is at the moment.....

I was going to do the DRMINI SPeedo move, but if its just an adaptor, then I'm willing to give it a go!

Our other car (Barney the pretend S) has an early Clubbie cable, the binnacle is screwed through the parcel tray trim from inside the car. Wires are long enough that I can tip it onto the pacel tray.
I'll make mine the same, put 1" spacer under the trim... bugger originality!
