what happens when you pop a driveshaft?
does the universal joint thing just un-link?

They can pop out of C/V if circlip is faulty, or they can break off where they go into the C/V. If the latter, you need a replacement shaft.

All is fine now, where it snapped looks as though the actual metal was faulty, and it snapped in a hexagonal shape :? Ive changed the shaft (thanx brickworx for the parts), its sweet again. Must of been suspect cause I was hardly moving when it happened, but was extremely amusing seeing the guys push it up the hill using a mini, a pair of legs and some muscle!
