I know I'm new here and care factor is probably zero but I have to tell people that understand the Mini passion...FINALLY got myself a new Mini project!! Nothing grand but it's a start..

1 complete Mini (998, wet suspension) - not running. Has been kept under cover. As for rust, there is no significant (structural) rust, obviously as the car is approx 35 years old there is some superficial rust apparent, however I haven't
examined it in detail.

1 body shell (850, dry suspension) and associated parts. The body shell is
just that - a shell with glass - all other parts have been removed,
including suspension and sub frames, (which came with it). Includes wheels, fuel
tank, front seats and various mechanical pieces including engine (no head)
carbs, radiator etc. This shell is original, by the look of
it has never been repainted etc and has superficial surface rust, but seems
to be otherwise intact.

YIPPEE!!

My father had a Mini. I grew in a family obssessed with cars all makes and models but my passion has always been Mini's..Now is the time I get my own Mini(s) FINALLY! I know more about cars than my husband  Shock horror I am a girl..

The best bit about it all is I got them for FREE! A fellow enthusist lost interest and responded to one of my various wanted adds. Said as long as I came to get them and all the bits and pieces I could have it for free cause he knew I was serious about getting them up and running..

I can't wait to post some pics..I pick the cars up on the weekend..
