 Post subject: Fuel Hose ???? need help

Hi all

Need help with this, fuel leaking, but dont know what this hose leads to, been 1 year i think, so i just blocked it.

that hose is coming out of your fuel pump and needs to goto the carb inlet pipe. Its in the pic aswell.

Thanks mate

Im a real newbie here, where is the carb inlet inlet pipe, would i need another hose... ? to connect them...

Sorry i but i will need a step by step here :(

i think this is where it is suppose to go. Someone with an a series engine will have to confirm it :)

Yep, thats right, if the other end of the fuel pump goes to the tank! Could be running an electric pump, but the carby isn't getting any fuel at all, so maybe not. Your engine wouldn't have run (no fuel!!).

Take the little bit that's clamped on to the fuel pump along with you as a sample....

Not sure about wich tubes, tried both, should i block the other.

It should be in the one 13sec drew the line into. The other one is an overflow and shouldn't be blocked.
