i prefer the plastic one there a lot lighter and easier on the hands....how? they can be sharp as!! Hey Brickworx....and don't you love the way the metals drag the radiator in towards them when they are gouging the trench!

From what I have seen, it is the water pump and the radiator fitted that seems to determine how well your engine is cooled (apart from the galleries in your block of course).

A fella down here reckons he runs a perspex blanking sheet behind his grill all year round. I don't think he has an aluminium radiator or any thing special, metal fan so (16 blader, not a 4 or a 2).....must ask him to elaborate on the coolant he is using as well..... :idea:

I'll just add here that if you turn your motor over by pulling on the plastic blades, it will crack them at the base if they are old.. then they will go `Ping!'
Not a good idea!
Instead, I'd put it in 4th gear and rock it, or jack one side up & turn the wheel, or put a spanner on the alternator pulley.... or.. get a metal fan!! :lol: :wink:
