The more I work on the Mini the more I see to do. :x I am toying with the idea of pulling the engine out for a number of reasons none of then really necessary but ........ what do you guys think? The PO painted the engine bay gloss black - it gives me the irrates. If I pull the engine I can get at some oil leaks easier and also fiddle with the back of the motor with things like the tappet chest covers and fuel pump blanking plate a lot easier. I could also paint the motor (colour to be decided) and after repainting the engine bay rewire it neatly.

I have rather cramped working conditions and she indoors keeps asking when I'm going to get the 3rd car out of the 2 car garage. Ceiling height is only 2 metres so lifting height is restricted. SO I need input do I get it on the road by the shortest possible route or do I satisfy my "urge's"?
