The MIni Sprint GT wasnt broadspeed at all, it was Stuart and Arden which were a BMC dealer. They were also chopped roofline and waistline, making them an incredibly difficult car to restore or recreate.

In the latest issue of Miniworld which no one has in aus yet (also has aus minishow 04 pics) which i picked up in the UK it has an article about a bloke who restored a sprint gt, dont know if its that one though.
