Yes there is a t connector available so that you can run both, though you don't have to, not sure where you would get it from though...

I wouldn't worry about connecting the charcoal filter pipes, and they usually run to an SU, alot of them aren't working these days anyway...

No idea what that dial does, sorry..

It's not too clear in the pic but the hose coming off the weber connects to that white bottle which then connects to the dial and then keeps going down.

The white thing looks like a fuel filter so could the dial be some sort of flow regulator?

Yeah, what i was about to say..looks like a fuel regulator. It is connected to your fuel line..White RYCO thing is a fuel filter.

How slow/fast does the temp gauge usually move? Drove around for 20 mins (I know that isn't that long) and the gauge only just made it to the bottom line.

To see if your temp guage is working hold it against the block if the temperature goes right up it is working and your problems lie elsewhere. I don't know what it will do if you hold it there too long, but I don't think it will do anything too drastic...
It it does work then it is probably the temperature sender unit, just order a new one. :wink:
