The underbody of my mini is covered in this crap...

Now whilst using a twisted knot brush gets it off, is there some solvent which can take this stuff of quickly...im a lazy git :lol:

No Easy answer, but there is a slightly better way. Get yourself:

a metal paint scraper
heat gun (places like Bunnings sell ryobi heat guns for example)
suitable gloves (like welding gloves) & goggles if applicable

Make sure there is no carpet etc in the car (even the fibre insulation inside can catch fire - wet it or place damp rags on it), then heat the area first with the heat gun, scrap it when softened and still hot. work on a small 20-30 cm square section at a time.

This is where a body rotisserie comes into it's own!

alot of the drag racing guys in japan actually use dry ice to freeze it and then chip it off :shock:
