My last sponsor... sorry i mean girlfriend loved how my mini looked sounded and went, but didnt like the unpredictability in reliability.

She moved that i should sell up and buy a new "reliable" car.

I will miss her dearly.

Scott

before I was married I had a gf who owned a Brookevale Bandit's special. It was a Cooper S replica....guess what......it was BRG with white roof

I wasn't into Mini's back then.....but gee I loved that car.....

We went out for a while, till I got bored of helping push it off the road every time it broke down...... She sold it for an Excel....and I dumped her.

Mr poki wasn't particularly interested in minis when I bought my BINI. After a heap of nagging he came on a few runs with me and began to enjoy himself so much he decided that he needed one of his own We couldn't afford two BINIs so he bought a rover!!

If anything, he is worse than me now. Never thought I would get sick of talking about minis. I was wrong.

Mine is happier now I have emptied the garage of the excess mini stuff. I still have a couple of assembled motors/boxes/crates full of stuff, half a dozen SU's and other "stuff". She would be happier if I got rid of the rest but I keep saying "But you never know when you might need this..."

Heaven help me if she finds out about the stash at my mums house in QLD...lol. Would be drawn, quartered and my remains blown from the guns!!! My mother is sworn to secrecy so to speak.
