I pulled this indicator assembly off my project and was wondering if anyone knew what model this would have come off. I was told the shell is a 65 deluxe, however it has a floor starter. I found the number 2264 stamped into the bulkhead but no id plate. Any help would really be appreciated.

Looks like a MK! with a different end. Original was a black plastiic cone with a green lens. Replacement kits can be purchased from Mini Mania - http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/REP01/InvDetail.cfm

I know. Dunno whether it is worth buying the correct one. Saw one on ebay a while back, went for like $160 odd. For that money I'll probably just keep this one.

It looks like a broken then modified MKI bliker assembly

They are available new from UK about $105 plus shipping.

Cheers

Steve

if it has a floor starter and windup windows, check the floor where the gearshift hole is. If it has a hole for a remote gearchange next to the floor starter, it is probably hacked, and there should be a proper one at the front of the footwell that may be covered. Confused yet :? If all of the above is true, you may have a Morris Mini Minor shell, produced 1965, 66. They were a "povo pack" for government agencies that only had an 850cc engine and the bare minimum of trim. It may also have the pressed aluminium grill, rather than the slats of the deluxe and cooper s. Mine is apparently a 1966 model, and the body number is 1079, so the sequence looks a bit funny if yours is one of those.

We have a winner!!! :D

mickmini you are absolutely on the money. The remote hole has been cut and the one in the footwell bogged up.

Things I should have known before buying another shell. Wouldn't have made a bit of difference though. Can't pass a bargin up...
