Sorry bout the lateness but NAV and i will have to pull out due to "unscheduled" maintenance being urgently required as Virgin would put it.
In other words the bloody thing just broke :( :( :(

well the first meeting of the SE Queensland ausmini group was great... a great bunch of peeps, youd be hard pushed to find a random group who all took to each other so well... we all had a good time and some laughs.. with an agreement to make it a regular gig.
shame you couldnt make it Nav, but never mind you can come to the next one..
OH hows the patient????? nothing to serious??

he's ok now he has some new spark plugs gapped to the right spec. just got to re-tweak the mixture tis a bit lean now it's burning all the fuel again.
I also changed the oil in the dashpot to be slightly thicker as i was running thin stuff for the colder canberra climate. I might also tweak the timing and dwell(if req'd) to get better up top performance.

I had a cracker time. It was good to meet up with everybody. The videos looked the goods, I'm definitely keen to have a closer look at a later date. We basically just chatted about bricks the whole time so it was hard to concentrate on the TeeVee.

Haven't removed the mouse from my motor yet. It feels a little bit sluggish so I'm tipping its sucking in air instead of fuel mix. It was good to get some pointers on a few things as well.

Whitestriped, if you wanna borrow my dellorto/weber book let me know. It's really useful in explaining how they work, how to pull them down without breaking things, choosing the jets etc. and putting it back together.

I'll endeavour to post up the pics I took later on this evening.

Hey Dewey, wasn't me. I ain't taking off that cultus inlet manifold I had so much trouble getting in there for a weber. Maybe Steve or Greg?

I dunno, it was chaos with that many people mingling and talking shop.

When I post these images we can do a names/faces matchup... The Usual Suspects Style.

Okay so here's the pics.

The pics I took are complete crap... I was obviously a bit over excited to be there and didn't let the autofocus do its thing....

Zizzle took this photo which is much better (nothing to do with the fact I'm in it):
