towards me to tell me my bliknkers stay on when i an in 4th gear,

Me too.
I got out of my mini at the lights to tell a INDEPENDANT TAXI driver that BOTH of his tail light (brake lights) were blown. Only the centre light was functional.

 This is what FSCKS me off about cops... someone could crash because they didnt see any brake lights, whereas they just defect the "old car" driver coz their car is old.

Its then the person with the car without the lights working that is at fault. This is why sometimes I don';t say anything  Yer I'm a rite sod sometimes

if you rear end a car whose lights aren't working, you're buggered, as you can't prove that they didn't stop working because you hit them.

Yep you can - the filament will have bits of shattered glass embedded in it if it was one when the bulb was smashed. Or something like that. Can't remember exactly but they can tell if headlights were on. Honest, saw it on a TV program.

Don't believe everything you see on TV!! I saw on a car show that the mini was the first ever front wheel drive car. I casually dropped that when the local paper was taking some photos of some cars from our club - WELL you should have seen the old farts take offence to that!! Had some loser email me telling me I don't know anything, and what a load of rubbish and as promotions officer for the club I should do my research more thoroughly!! What an A-Hole!!

(hope he doesn't sue me!!!!)

Yep!! There was an NZ show on here last year, maybe the year before. It was an accident investigation show, and they said something about whether brake light bulbs were illuminated at time of impact...yarda yarda...was a great show.
