well, after the whole rings going thing, the decsion has been
made that vivians engine is comming out for a full rebuild and
get a new box to make her hunky dory,

the engine is already out (how is that for quick it only happened sunday!)
and is going to get Lizzies motor in her for the time being (yay 1275!!)
until the motor is built, so i will still be mini mobile and have a car to get
to uni in!!

yep, its cos i need this car everyday!! i had to be quick!

Ahem brakes, well um, well, yoou see the thing is with those
are they stop the car, was that the question????

(well the answer to your ahem anton is that i am going to just
be careful, al the brakes are now very much fixed and working
very well (ask marcello, he drove viv and she pulled up really well)
but it is only short term fix then the 988 is going back in 8) :wink: )

makes virtually no difference for stopping between the 998 and 1275 if ur going the same speed, its only when u start utelising the larger engine and start relying on the breaks that u need the disc's. Not saying that its alright to have drums on a 1275. U SHOULDN'T but wat difference does it make wat size engine u have having to stop the car if u are going the same speed.

It doesn't, but how often are you really going to be going the same speed? If you have the power you will use it, not saying you'll speed, but you'll naturally be going faster everywhere than you would with a 998 without even thinking about it...
