hi i'm a new member
and my pride and joy has just been placed on e-bay
shes a 1970 cooper(i think) running a 1380cc mg metro engine
lots of pics, i did the interier myself

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... escription

or by visiting http://www.ebay.com.au and typing 4531999306 into the search and that should bring it up

or by searching for "mini mg metro"

i thought she was a cooper but someone asked if i was sure it wasn't a deluxe, i'm not sure so any comments would be greatly appreciated

Did all coopers have twin tanks by '70, or only the 's' models?

hamish we see your car every day.. my daughter, Dani on here, goes to the highschool near you. I spoke to your father about the mini a few weeks ago and told him about this site.
from what ive seen its a nice looking mini, but ive always assumed it was a deluxe.. and i think you will find that is the case..noticed also that the badges are rover ..

Over here only the S got twin tanks, Cooper 998 production stopped when S was introduced. They kept building 998 Coopers in UK to ~1969 though, with 1 tank.

Yep, she looks like a deluxe to me. Single tank, australian doors, so not a UK cooper.
What brakes does it have?
What is the chassis number? (or the body prefix, don't want to know the rest)

Cheers
