Fitted new valve stem seals as the neighbour thought our garage was on fire 2 hours after I filled it with smoke on startup and when my partner opened the garage door.....

The old ones were as hard as a rock and now smokeless starts! :D

Just a little pearl to match the Mica in the red, otherwise the roof looks a bit flat.

Turned my 12ft tinny's boat trailer into a Mini boat trailer.
It now sports a pair of KYB Mini front shocks. :) No more bouncing...

Installed new pistons in block. Just taking my time. Project is one huge jigsaw puzzle, finding the correct bits searching though many different containers, is a challenge.

Tubbed the rear on the 67 Deluxe. Ready for 13's. And yes 13's do look the best.
(I have had 10 x 4's, 10 x 5's, 12 x 5's and 13 x 7' in the past)

For a Cooper S you would want to stay with the stock 10's but I am sick of people telling me how terrible 13's are on a mini (Tram lining, early bearing failure, poor handling) all rubbish.
Only downside that I have experienced is the steering is a little heavier. As for handling, bugger all difference. Lets face it, these cars are not really quick enough to push the limits of any of the wheel and tyre options if set up property. Each to their own though!

Bought new mirrors (already in transit, way to go minisport) and ordered a new set of Yokohamas to fit to my new purchase (73 Panelvan coming home very soon).
Argued with the wife as to why i get to buy a running registered mini for me while hers is still in pieces.
Looked at more parts and found some self control (for now).
