Yesterday i lowered th front 10 mm and put sound deadening in the dash.

Today it will hide in the shed because of rain, but i will do bike work in prep for Hay.

Radiator hoses arrived from Karcraft, Interior Restoration Manual Arrived in the post and the turned down dizzy drive arrived from GR courtesy the good Doc.
Ground an 11mm ring spanner (near enough to 7/16") to fit the *(&*!^ bolt in the top hinge, used it and although it came out OK the other one is stripped and wont undo

Take a photo of the back of it, I have a few ideas.
If all else fails use duct tape.

I got some nuts and bolts for my car. It's not much but it all helps. :D

I picked up my mini from Grieg.

The car is transformed! No shuddering. No vibrations. I drove hard with a huge grin on my face all the way home and took it to work with mye today.

already have but Phee ate phone-computer cord  Will mms you :D I have an idea to heat the plugs with a hairdryer and manipulate them through the grill so they are fixed to it then sliding the badge into them but have not had a chance to test such a theory in daylight hours.

I replaced a rubber uni joint after the last one disintegrated, and nearly broke my arm trying to undo the hub bolt to change a cv boot. And took it for a test drive once id done it.

Took the carby, supercharger and intake manifold off of my car, removed everything on the head but the head. The car is awaiting a speeding head change over this weekend.

I've got a newly rebuilt Cooper S to swap over! :D Then I can get the one of my car rebuilt and moved on down to the Clubman so no more of this small valve 12G940 stuff.

Took a grinder to the shell (more rust than not in all areas), cut off the roof, (was tempting to get a fan and get a photo of me "cruising topless" at this point  ), cut the front dash/bonnet section from the rest and cut the rest of thr rear in small enough bits to dispose of.

Then got yelled at by my wife for doing it all at 9:00pm  But have attached some castors to the "front cut" for my 4EFTE converison guinea pig/test mule.

Also pulled down some MG metro brakes ready for sandblasting.

I sent off a big shopping list to mini imports for a quote and availability of some components. I won't be working on the car until july as i am finishing uni at the moment, but when I get back to it my build thread will get interesting.
