The only reason r clips get knocked off is people use ones that are too big. The clip should be the smallest that will fit the clevis pin and must be able to rotate without hitting the body once installed

Fitted a GPS HUD speedo to the wasaMatic. Because the speedo reads 10+ kmh high because of the 3.647 diff.
$48 well spent.
I don't use the HUD feature, it is just bluetacked to the ashtray so far. :)
It's angled enough to read fine.

Took car for a run yesterday and noticed the Battery Gauge was reading too high , (above 15.0 V ) so sorted that this morning with another Ext regulator , back to 14.3 V , then put it up on stands , gave it an oil change .

Will give it a grease on Monday , a quick check of the tune and it should be good for the Rylstone Run .

Put the finishing touches onto the Cooper S after someone turned right, directly in front of me at an intersection.

Got the dark blue 850's engine back from Matt Read a few weeks ago. Got it in and running, yay!

Today I hope I have fixed the water leaks. I can't wait to drive it.

Got the rego inspection done.
I did 126 miles since the inspection last year :(
It's so much fun to drive, I just don't know why I don't do it more often

This one, but bought local for A$48 but no longer listed.

Compared to my TomTom the reading moves around more, perhaps it uses less satellites.
But it's worth it, particularly in suburbia.

We use a "HillSpeed" HUDo9 Digital speedometer. We use this on our longer trips and it works very well.
We did get it of Ebay, as it was cheaper than buying from (Bogaard Distributors)
