when i looked up my chassis number for my clubman this is what it is Leyland mini EPAI 998 what is that model?? :? whats is EPAI

EPA is the Environment Protection Authority. Dunno what the I stands for.... :?

You must have a post '76 clubby? That's when stricter EPA laws came into effect in OZ.

I'm not too sure but going by that info, the car might have been made in October of 1976.
Just a guess though.

The EPA might be related to the emissions the car gives out if anything happened at the time.

yea in late 76 the EPA regs came in. My clubby is a late 76 and has all that gear.

lucky for me (2/72) i missed out on all that crap,coz if its suppot to have it,and you ger defected,its all over :(
we had a 1977 leyland get a 1.3i motor put in,and regencypark wanted it tested the same as what a brand new 1977 motor with all the polution crap.unfair :(
