Well it's all going to plan, I've got the 1360 auto block, rods, pistons & cam back, will get S crank back tomorrow. All being well I can start to screw it together this weekend. May be running again by Monday 21st.
Yeehah! :P
Sorry rice dudes.. no turbos, NOS, blowers, stroker cranks etc. It'll be just like before, but with `a bit more' power and a shorter (3.647) diff. 8)

I'm thinking that there will be a "Secret" GR Cam inside....
I'm thinking that the RE-13 has had a lot of developmen, and now its time to get a little more civilised, and even more powerful.... yes Kev ?

hmmmm... i may have to wind some more boost in i think , 73, just aint going to cut it..... :-)

Hmm...nice 8)

I think GR has a new cam that's even bigger than the RE-13 ;)

Do you change how much power makes it to the ground when you change gearing at all?

<edit> I'm thinking not..it just maximises the effective use of the power

Nah don't worry- the cam will be the good old `revised' RE-13, same as Gaf and Mini Mad are running. But I'm using 1.5 rockers for more top end sizzle.
There is a new killer street cam coming but it's not out of gestation yet.

I'll shove one of those in my next motor, which will be a 1430.. 8)

Why is it 'revised'?..you'll just be using the same cam? or was your original RE-13 grind different?

Mine was different. More top end, but less midrange. Now it's the same as yours.
It'll still have good top end- I've had the die grinder in the head, again... :P

I was going to go the cheapo route of just replacing his cracked piston and fitting new rings, but by the time I strip it all down it's not worth it.
So I'm building my spare motor to put in, it's now got 1360cc Hypatec pistons, S crank & rods.

The old motor in car might yet get a stroker crank.. and be rebuilt to a 1430... for next time!
