Well done. The twins will be fine as long as you rejet them to suit. Would be worth at least putting a kit thru them prior to going on.

Cheers

Aaron

That's a lucky score there. I had the bloke across the road from me give me a whole box of SUs, including four HS4s and a set of twin HS2s off a Mini, including manifold. I was pretty stoked with that.... haven't used the twin carbs though, just added them to the existing pile

Goes to show, it does happen!

Anto.

yeah it was a good score (I have seen the stash and its more screws than you could poke a stick at...! ) although most of it was for a roundie and well correct me if I am wrong, but that will mean you will need to get a roundie eh Chris..!!

BTW can I have the speedo..? Its one of those modern ones with the Kms printed on a disc in the centre and the miles on the outside.

Oh and while we are on the topic of the speedo, does anyone know what the two ORANGE lights are for..? There is the green one on the top to tell you you are flashing, then the blue on high beam, red one ignition, <<insert colour>> for oil, but there is another orange one one side and its friend on the other side also orange.. I cant find anything to explain it

hi marcello,
one of the orange lights is for engine oil filter by pass.light comes on when filter is blocked if the filter switch is fitted to the engine.
I don't know what the other orange light is for.
regards Felix
