My Mini Minor was daily driver for nearly 9 years before i took pity on it and turned it into a motorsport basher. What's worse?

The 850 has only ever been on club plates with us, but was the previous owners daily for nearly forty years.

My daily is a Yamaha Zeal. Every day no matter the weather. Fair weather riders just don't cut the mustard in my book. It's like being a fair weather Moker, or only taking your Mini out when the sun is shining. And yea the 850 might be on club plates but every time i take it to something the rain comes down! The only reason a bike is better for me every day is my work location - no parking and salt atmosphere if i could park here. Don't want to expose the Minis to rust unnecessarily :)

Penny's 71 clubman is her daily driver, unless its raining or it over 26 degree's then she takes the VR4 with the air con, i get to drive the V8 Dyna truck or the V6 engined econovan 1 tonner with is the most fun to drive lotsa sideways. Plus the MK1 Cooper S is on club plates & the 68 van will be on club plates soon too.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

So mini got drived everywhere for a year, Twas my only car. Did 6-7000 miles. Then for 2 months, drive everday to work, 30 miles a day at least.
Mini cops a belting every drive, i try my best not too, but it happens.
And just though it will be winter soon. And mini not handle well in wet, and roads i travel are quite bad. And in winter we get snow, ice, wetness, and lots a puddles on road, and all cars are bad to drive in that, let alone a mini - or old car- So i got a newish car, in magna, Which i now drive everyday, and it too cops a caining. Tis lots of fun. I do stupid things and im going to come unstucj oneday . so ill stop .
Mini gets driven for times of stress relief and maybe once a week, for when i go and get paid, show off in town or something. it would be a 'show' car, but umm we dont actaully have shows here.

what sort of tafe course is this??

id like to do something like that after hours

It's been a long time since I did any but TAFE used to run heaps of journeyman courses after work. I did panelbeating, arc, oxy, mig, tig, DLI pressure tickets. Took me years but very enjoyable. Give them a ring and see what is available.
