If you have a dirty engine, clean it with degreaser or whatever, but you need to find out exactly where the oil is coming from. Start with that.

well u have ur first oil leak, wow. :D
you should write this down in your mini's baby book, "First oil leak"

after you find where its leaking, tightening bolts or reseal the housing or something like that.

Starting a post, "I have an oil leak. How do I fix it?", is a bit vague. It's like saying, "My car's broken. How do I fix it?".

If you can find the source, then post where it's coming from, people will be able to help. :)

Most oil leaks are simple. Pray to the Mini God that it's simple.

Two alternatives spring to mind. Drain the oil and it won't leak or fix it. On second thoughts ignore the first, not a good idea at all. :D

Now to get serious, clean it, go for a drive and see if it happens again. Make sure all breathers are clean and if it has a PCV valve make sure it is operational. Oil leaks are commonly caused by to much pressure in the crank case/gearbox.

How about this. Umm. To stop it from leaking oil, umm turn it 180 degrees to where the leak is. If not,. umm get over it and put some more in. hahahaha,
