Hi,
Just trying to figure out if it is worth me going to the effort to import from either the UK or Japan. Has anyone done it, whole mini that is not just front cut? How much tax do you get hit with, and how did you go about transporting it? Shipping container i guess, any idea on cost on that too?
There are so many sweet minis for sale in england, pretty cheap too.
Thanks, :D

Bringing in a car from the UK is the most expensive way to go, and the cars not usually in good condition. Japan is the way to go. You car only bring in cars built before 1989, so if you were after an efi car, you'll need that frontcut.

Australia is very much different to USA, there are quite a few Mini's here. I'd get here and see what's for sale before you commit to purchase an import.
