Today, i felt like wasting a bit of my time and thought i might strip the paint off my rocker cover.
It came up quite shiny so i decided to leave it, so i put some clear gloss paint on.
I'm not sure it will stay like this once the heat gets to it, but it looks nice now :)
Here's a piccy
I also felt like having a poll :) knock yourself out.

i painted my wifes one the same colour as the car, i think the clear should stop it from rusting but think it will crack in a few weeks, really needs a colour under it to bind.

Looks ok for now, definately look into other measures though once it looses it's appeal..

its alloy, so shouldnt rust

My bro made a hacksaw once.... yes, MADE ....a hacksaw. He had it industrially chromed for $2. Bargain if you ask me.

Nothing nicer than an alloy rocker cover (except for Brads attempt, of course  )
