Well its sort of finished..as per normal I had a fight with those bolts that lock in the suround and the Rad  but at least the bottom rad pipe went around the suround with ez both times :D
You know those little bolts on the front and rear  as per normal

Water pump spun easly

Marcia has donatted here Alternator (lost count now) 17acr and of course the brackets are differnt and the bottom bolt size is differnt

Can some one remind me with the wireing do the two big terminals of the 17acr go to the same spot on the solinoid

No troubles I'll do up a shet for you's

The day I bought my Lancer, I had some ass bandit run into me....

When the panel beaters cut the front rad support panel off, they found a large socket INSIDE the chassis rail.....which means someone had put it there, then welded the rad support in place, trapping the socket in the chassis rail.....

The bastard kept it...... My car + socket in chassis rail = my socket! (even though I didn't put it there)

I have the bit of paper from mine but I'm out tomorrow. If you need it post tonight or in the morning, and I'll check the forum before I leave. I think it is black for common, red for 12 volt supply and the other colour (white?) the regulated 10/10.5V or whatever. You can check by following the trace on the backing sheet (PCB) and working out which one goes to earth, which one comes from the plug (+12v), and which one goes to the instruments(+10.5v).

Red goes to the live green wire,
black goes to the earth lug on speedo,
white one- fit a double spade connector and it then goes to the 2 light green/brown wires- fuel and temp gauges.
