See black with chrome rocker is so overdone! that's why black with black rocker with a bling top is different and eye catching IMO...

Red leads would do it for me Anton! it would be perfect! Black with red leads, black coil. Try to not overdo the red so that it would look "special" just like the seat piping :)

i think braided hose suits most engines, just got to have other bling in there to match. This is a stalet gt engine bay (same motor as mine) still 1300cc and 350hp@wheels  100% street legal and daily driver.

mmm....braided hoses...... :P

I like ChrisZ's and The Martians' $0.04 worth.....

I spent this arvo sand blasting bits, in preparation of da Bling!

Not bad for a home sand blaster. Great for removing paint.....removing rust needs a bigger compressor..... :?

20 big ones from Bunnings. Have to use DRY sand ($4.95 / bag) and all you need is a compressor, bucket, goggles

Not a professional job, but pretty close. The bigger the compressor, the better finish.

It's real, you buy it, use it, and the results are in the pics - I think your question is "Is it industrial strength?" - and that question has just been answered above.

and it'd be real useful if you lived near the beach and were fed up with all the sand on your front porch...

It doesn't matter if it is a high powered industrial unit, or a home handyperson unit, essentially it is a gun that blows sand around.....

I think you did a great job mate - looks the part and ready to paint.

I am doing up the 998 at the moment (just waiting on the block to come back from the shop...) but I am redoing the engine bay in original crystal white and motor, head will be Ford Competition Blue while leaving the clutch cover/gearbox au natual.

I think yours will look great whatever you decide on. I am not a purist and couldnt care less if it wasnt the original colour(as some people in my club seem to remind me all the time!!! )

Do it YOUR way - not theirs. Ultimately you have to sit in it and drive it. Good luck with it all

Hey Anton, how big is your compressor. I have a 16 cfm with a larg tank. do you think that will handle a sand blaster??

Does it make a helluva mess??
