OK I got several requests to bring back centre oil pickups from mini spares. Openned a can of worms!

Aaron and Makka both want one. So that's 3 already... I trust these 2 cause they are MCC people but if anyone else wants one they will have to pay me upfront. I think $60 is a fair price since it is $55.60 or something and I don't want to be short changed in case the exchange rate hikes up or something  besides what's $4 between mates??

The deal is I am buying shite loads of stuff from mini spares so if I max out my luggage weight then no can do! My stuff takes priority!

Amongst this I will be trying to have a holiday

Just buy em and post em to yourself in one package - then get on with your holiday - sort the rest when you get home

Anton it's not hard to make one from 2 stockers, I've got one 1/2 finished you can have for nix.. remind me on Sat.
I'm getting lazy in my old age..

how? :)

Basically you cut the 2 of them in different places and weld them together.
Wants to be a decent weld, either TIG or oxy.

Handy to have a new one to copy...

The little strainer on the end can be cut out of a Mini strainer, wrapped round the pipe and silver soldered on.

Finally- bolt it in, then braze a lug to the pipe to attach to the strainer mount lug in the box.

No, I'm not making any- it's easier & cheaper to bring them from UK!

no probs i like making things so ill give it a go :)

OK I get it! Post the COP's back home first!

Well that's even worste! I only have 3 days in London and I don't want to spend it posting COP's to myself!

I'll think about it and post something here later

Have a good trip, I was over there about two years ago and had a great time. If you are going to Bath you should try to go to the National Motor museum at Beaulieu (near Southampton) and take a picnic!

Just a warning about posting things, You could stand in line in the post office to a couple of hours.

Just tape the COP's to your legs before you get on the plane!

That's probably another reason MiniSpares don't like posting stuff to Oz!

Everything happens and gets transacted at the post office - but the bigger ones sometimes have a business window.

I am on the verge of declaring a jihad on Minispares. I've made two calls to matt tonight and he hasn't been available either time, NOR has he returned the messages asking for him to return my calls
I ordered these parts very early April and they haven;t left yet, are out of stock or I don't no what! Very frustrating to deal with. Never get a straight answer or even an answer at all sometimes.

I just got my centre oil pickup from Minispares.$82 landed in Australia.
The only problem was their lack of correspondence. After an initial message saying they had recieved the order and would get back to me with a postage cost I heard nothing from them until 2 months latter when a package arrived. Another week and I would have got one from Karcraft and would have ended up with two.

30.60 Pounds + 12.00 Pounds shipping by packet post (I asked them). How long would you reckon that would take to get here?

Boats should all be sunk. Unless they are jetboats.
