when I get mine bolted in (unfortunately not to the standard engine mounts) I'll take you for a run and we'll see what you think.... 1498cc SOHC 16 valve & 92 bhp standard isn't that bad - that's with crappy carbs, huge purposefully designed restrictions in the air filter box, but a bullet proof bottom-end. A VTEC head can be bolted right on too... those motors actually make better power than the first of the 1600 DOHC's

i got one
there is a total knob who lives just up the road from me who apparently used to race a mini 850 bored out to 1750cc's and won all the races he went in plus did all the work himself.

so i asked in a a bit of a smart tone so show me somepictures and have you got any spares left or could you help me buid my next motor.

the answer um gee not sure i'll get back to you, and guess what its ben about a year now ans he has not said boo to me.

hahahaha
i was at my parents friends house, he told me that when he was young he had three minis all of which he rolled. i thought it was just another one of these storys, he then went on to show me pics of each of the three minis before and after. we then talked four hours.
