today when i was parking at work the parking attendent asked me about the car, he the told me that cooper s's were the best, this was just after reading this thread. so i told him you know that a 998 Cooper motor powered mini is quicker than a 1275 cause the 'donks weight offsets the power gain. he bought it.
hahahaha

So does the civic engine fit easily in a Mini engine bay? How easy is it to put a vtec head on one?

I had someone tell me recently that it was a shame that my car wasn't original.

I said uh-huh - why so?

He said because they were originally all british racing green, had alloys and were 1500 cc's from the factory.

He wasn't one to be told anything so I bade him good day and went about my business.

Every time someone finds out about my car, the question is always
"Did you buy a cooper S?"
**I'm thing frickin hell, there were other models**
"no, I didn't"
"Yep, they were awesome cars back in the 50's"
"I'm sure it was"

Or
"My car did over 100MPH around even the sharpest corners!"
Yeah, sure it did.
