No so much a case of needing to re-weld the seams....just ensuring that the original welds are appropriately sealed again after the dipping process has removed the original protection

can you get all the dipping compound out of the body joins ???Ask the company to give you a GUARANTEE that the compound will not seep out after the car is painted. Cars use interweld sealer in the spot welded joins you cant get any sealer back in the joins when it is removed. Sealing the outside will not be ok.P7676

I looked into it when I first bought my S, and decided against it for all the reasons quoted here. I used a wire brush on my angle grinder.

I used to teach car restoration and I have seen a lot people who do not know what they are up against when restoring a car they think it will be easy.Currenty I am bending new hydro lines they are very difficult to do I stuffed the first 2 now I have worked it out how to bend them. I still get problems with some jobs.
