Can anybody identify what vehicle a Lucas 29D AYB 0370 distributor is from? It has 4 lobes and does not have a vacuum advance ,stamped 6294 1129 8 71.

My guess is a Mk2 Cooper S or with a date that late a Clubman GT.

According to PUB1052 (Clubman Parts Book) the Clubman GT dizzy is 62941090.

Spot on Morris! Even though the BMC and Lucas parts books don't mention it John has it in his catalogue as an Australian MK II Cooper S (B62941129-R). A search on here of the part number 62941129 doesn't attract any hits, which is a bit weird.
