I had this issue with my Deluxe......was me being tired and putting the leads on the wrong plugs.

Did the same thing to the Suzuki Swift also.

Could be running rich and the more you put your foot down the more fuel it gets...

You could check the timing, plugs, point, leads etc

nah mine had been running for half an hour prior to get the battery charged, it maye have been throttle as i just came in from adjusting that and it seems to be revving higher with less push of the pedal, it is running rich also, thanks guys

you posted ages ago that it was sluggish - you're always taking it shows on a trailer, why don't you put it on that trailer and go get it tuned properly, maybe at that mini place where you work and learn all your skillz....

sounds like it's retarded to me, but it could just as easily be a dragging rear brake, or maybe it's because the interior light isn't working....

I had a Commonwhore just like this many moons ago.

It had a 253 that I bought from a wreck. Supposedly it had done 125 000 kms......but after much deliberation I figured that it must have been flogged real hard before the car was wrecked.

I lived on a hill and would have to leave for work at 5am and drive up the hill....the car would just not do it, so I had to go down the hill and get a run up, just to make it up....

I reckon this motor had low compression (from wear)....

How is your compression??

Fricked crankshaft?

Hmm whats some more things that would freak him out?

Oh... cracked head?

erm, don't idle your car for 30 mins from cold...
you need to drive it to get oil pressure up and oil temp up to operating norms as quickly as possible.
