Hi there.
I have an original black Mini K. It still has the Berger paint sticker on the firewall. Unfortunately someone respirated the outside but the inside is still black. I need to resorts it back to original but I don’t have a paint code for Berger Black. The original black is really a very dark green.
I know my car was originally black because it still has the body and paint quality check sticker on the rear side pocket. It would have been a special order as the paint sticker has ‘BLACK’ handwritten.

Are you saying your black mini k is actually a very dark green that looks black?

Sounds like one of the British Racing greens that were a VERY dark Green almost black colour.

The paint sticker says black. If definitely looks black but when you rub the paint down to a thin layer it has a green base.

That's my picture and yep we own a Black (Anthracite) 500

A old cleaner at my Tafe had a black 850 one owner car that was in the late 90s, she would never sell it. Had red Shag pile carpet inside and a walnut dash. Champion old duck she was...

Black is one of.my favourite colors on a mini

Flapper on here recently purchased a black 850 in a million pieces. Has the original engine and all the correct numbers.

Not that it helps, but my mother had a genuine black '64 bought for her in Sydney by her father in '67. It had Italian flag emblem stuck on the side of both front guards. My dad reckoned it was previously owned by the Brookvale mafia of course!
